McNair new ArtsQuest CFO
ArtsQuest has hired Timothy McNair, CPA as the organization’s first Chief Financial Officer. Mr. McNair brings a wealth of financial knowledge and experience to the nonprofit organization.
Before joining ArtsQuest, McNair most recently held financial and business leadership roles with B&B Custom Pools Inc., BRD Noise & Vibration Control and C.F. Martin & Co. He also served as an adjunct faculty member at Lehigh University. He earned his CPA at Price Waterhouse in Philadelphia and returned home to the Lehigh Valley as a financial analyst at Air Products and Chemicals Inc.
McNair received his BA in accounting from Franklin & Marshall College and his MBA in finance from Lehigh University College of Business. He currently serves on the board of directors for Bear Creek Camp and Barry Isett & Associates Inc. He is a former board trustee and treasurer from The Baum School of Art, as well as a Minsi Trails Council Finance Committee Member.
Hilgert named to LV Power 100 list
ArtsQuest is thrilled to announce that Kassie Hilgert, president and CEO, has been selected by Lehigh Valley Business as one of the region’s power players for their annual Power 100 List.

Swanson, Ruzak added to IAL staff
The Industrial Archives & Library (IAL) has announced the appointment of Chase A. Swanson and Madeline E. “Madi” Ruzak as processing archivists on the IAL collections staff. Swanson and Ruzak will be responsible for receiving new collections as they come in, rehousing the records into archival enclosures and creating finding aids so the public can access the materials. They also will be responsible for working on the organization’s existing backlog of unprocessed records.
Chase A. Swanson earned his BS in history in 2022 from Southern Utah University, and he is currently attending San Jose State University to complete his master of library and information science (MLIS) degree. A native of Martinsville, Ind., and raised there and in Metamora, Ill., Chase resided in Columbus, Ohio, while working at the OCLC Library & Archives department during the summer of 2023 before relocating to Pennsylvania. He also worked at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and Museum of Native American History in Bentonville, Arkansas. Chase is a member of the Society of American Archivists and the American Historical Association. He resides in Hellertown. with his wife, Gabrielle.
Madeline “Madi” Ruzak is a native of Erie, Pa., who graduated from Lehigh University with BA’s in both English literature and anthropology before moving west to pursue an MS in folklore and public culture from the University of Oregon. She recently finished a master of library and lnformation science (MLIS) degree at the University of Pittsburgh before joining the IAL staff. Madi resides in Bethlehem.
