Our dog Lizzy can be very temperamental. She loves to be close and to lick. Other times she can be aloof, sitting with her back to us and refusing to acknowledge us.
One day we came home to find her curled up in the chair with her back toward us. She didn’t even raise her head to greet us but her tail gave her away with little flips up and down.
The copy deadline for the June 5 column will be May 30.
