Janet E. Ettinger, 91, formerly of Oxford Circle South, Allentown, died April 24, 2024, in Country Meadows, Bethlehem.

She was the wife of the late John H. Ettinger.

Born Dec. 7, 1932, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Raymond S. and Ruth (Bernhard) Edelstein.

She was an assistant nurse in the Parkland School District from 1985-95.

Before that, she was chief dietitian at the former Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown, for many years.

She was a lifelong member of the former Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Allentown.

Her survivors include sons John Mark Ettinger, Ph.D. and his wife, Cathy. of Vermont, Neil D. Ettinger Esq. and his wife, Tracy, of Walnutport; and grandchildren Keira and Baylor.

She was predeceased by her sister, Annette Edelstein.
