James Scott Kershner, 71, of Philadelphia, formerly of Bethlehem, South Whitehall, and Allentown, died April 1, 2024.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late John William and Sara Louise (Wotring) Kershner.

He was baptized in Allentown’s Trinity United Church of Christ and attended services there and in other churches over the years.

He was a very friendly, and easygoing person with a great sense of humor.

He enjoyed spending time with friends, listening to music, watching movies and looking through magazines.

He will be missed by his many friends and family members.

His survivors include brothers John Raymond Kershner (Barbara) of Merry Point, Va. and Keith Michael Kershner (Jane) of West Berlin, N.J.,; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
