Anna M. Recker, 84, of South Whitehall Township, died April 27, 2024, in Allentown.
She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Golles) Lukitsch.
Before retiring in 2004, she was employed at Muhlenberg College for 20 years.
She was defined by her dedication to the family, her strong character, her fight to overcome difficult times and great willpower.
Anyone who ever met her knew that she was an adoring, passionate, lifelong fan of Elvis.
Above all, she will be remembered for her endless love for and fierce devotion to her children, her big heart and care for others.
Her survivors include daughters and sons Terri, wife of Walter Bilenki of Middletown, Del.; Paul, and wife, Amaris, of Fogelsville; John of Allentown and Annie of Corvallis, Ore.
Her legacy is also carried on by her grandchildren Anthony, Erika, Lauren, Lukas, Alondra, Sebastian and Samantha; and five great-grandchildren who brought her extraordinary joy.
She is survived by her sister, Mary Smith of Allentown and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by husband Richard J. Recker, five brothers and one sister.
A viewing will be held 10-11 a.m. May 4 at Robert C. Weir Funeral Home, 18th and Turner Sts., Allentown.
Services will be 11 a.m. by Steve Anderson of North-Ridge Bible Chapel.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
