Virginia “Ginny” M. Brey, 80, of Hilliard, Ohio, and formerly of Northampton, died April 15, 2024, at Doctor’s West Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth H. and Ruth E. (Hess) Dech.

She was a Northampton High School graduate.

She worked in retail sales at various locations for more than 30 years until she retired. She recently worked for Dollar General in Ohio.

She is survived by a son, Robert and wife Paula Schall of Grove City, Ohio; two daughters, Kim and husband Richard Lucas of Galloway, Ohio, and Brenda and husband Michael Colehouse of Lewis Center, Ohio; four grandchildren, Brittany Blankenship, Anthony Harvey, Lauren Colehouse and Ellie Colehouse; a great-grandson, Ace Hale; and a sister, Ruthann and husband Emery Werkheiser of Northampton.
