Wildlands Conservancy will hold its 28th annual Lehigh River Sojourn June 8-11. This guided paddling trip on the Lehigh River is a family-friendly rafting adventure through the Lehigh Gorge in the Poconos, along with a canoeing or kayaking experience through the metro-wilderness reaches of the river.

Space is limited, so sign up for East Allen Township Parks and Recreation’s summer camp, set for 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Mondays through Fridays June 17-Aug. 2 for ages 6-12. There is a cost, which is discounted for residents.

Allen Township’s first movie of the summer 2024 season will be “The Sandlot,” set for June 29 at Howertown Park.
All movies are family events with free admission. There will also be a Touch a Truck on site for kids of all ages. The township is offering free popcorn and water at each event. Bring your lawn chairs and/or blankets.
Donations are appreciated, so the township can hold future movie events.
