To commemorate “National Poetry Month” in April, the Lehigh Valley Press presents the 19th annual Student Poetry Project.

Students whose poems were published on Page B1 of the Focus section of the April 24 and 25 editions of Lehigh Valley Press newspapers had the opportunity to read their poems and be interviewed on the April 22 “Lehigh Valley Arts Salon,” WDIY, 88.1, Lehigh Valley Public Radio and NPR affiliate. The Student Poetry Project adjudication committee met March 19 to review 84 poems submitted by students in the Lehigh Valley area.

The Press Student Poetry Project received a 2018 Keystone Media Award and a 2010 Pennsylvania Newspaper Association Foundation Award.
