Upon us is death, becomes closer every day
We take in breath after breath until we don’t
Our loved ones crying wishing we could stay
We beg for mercy but we know Grim won’t
As time ticks we start to disintegrate
Unrecognizable by the ending
We always get told it is written by fate
Only memories left of our existing
Harshness and pain start to leave our body
Scars and bruises disappear in the light
We are panicked at the moment of glee
The atmosphere completely changes bright
The security reached within the dark
Is a candle that sadly lost its spark
