PRESS PHOTO BY LOU WHEELAND Former President Donald Trump speaks to a crowd at a campaign rally, held April 13 on the grounds of Community Fire Company No. 1, Schnecksville. Despite the cold and windy weather, thousands of Trump supporters sat, stood, endured three-hourlong lines and Secret Service searches before entering the grounds. Trump was expected to begin his speech 7 p.m. but didn't begin until 45 minutes later. Reportedly, Trump said the delay was because the pilot of his plane did not want to land at the airport in the heavy winds but he said he told the pilot to “land the plane.”
