Janet F. Cury, 82, of Macungie, died April 18, 2024, at Mosser Nursing Home. She was a daughter of the late Ernest and Kathryn Schoch.

A 1960 graduate of Emmaus High School, she was employed at PPL for 43 years, retiring in 2004.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Macungie.

She enjoyed traveling, bowling, gardening and listening and dancing to music of the 1950s and 1960s.

Some of her fondest memories were good times spent with family and friends, especially at Lake Wallenpaupack and Rehoboth Beach, Del.

She is survived by a sister, Diane Schantz; companion, Rome Ragnelli; nephews, Troy Schantz (Tonya), Brett Schantz (Valerie); great-nephews, Tyler Schantz (Victoria), Blake Schantz; great-nieces, Madison and Morgan Schantz; great-great-nephew, Caleb Schantz. She was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Warren.
