Congregation Keneseth Israel, Allentown, sponsored a Passover scavenger hunt for youngsters on April 14.
Not only was there time for the children to hear a Passover story from PJ Library, read by Alex Malanych, religious school director, but crafts, games and snacks were available.
Abby Trachtman, head of education for the Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley, led the games and the scavenger hunt.
Modeling clay was available, crayons and colored pencils were on tables, matzoh and cream cheese and butter, as well as cookies and grape juice.
The Passover holiday begins before sundown on April 22 and ends after nightfall on April 30.
Passover is a Jewish festival of freedom.
