The Bel Canto Youth Chorus of The Bach Choir of Bethlehem announces its Youth Chorale Spring Concert, “In Youth,” will be presented 4 p.m. on April 21 at Cathedral Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem.
This concert pays homage to the early years of life, full of enchantment, longing, independence and excitement.
The program will feature Brahms’ Liebeslieder Waltzes and talented solo musicians from the Youth Chorale, including some auditioning for the Zimmerman’s Coffee House recital program at the 116th Bethlehem Bach Festival.
Youth Chorale also welcomes special guest Vera Voce from Parkland High School directed by Alison Lagan.
“We are excited to share with you a program that is both a nod to the youth offerings of The Bach Choir of Bethlehem and an homage to the ‘spring’ of our lives, that magical time that is our youth,” Youth Chorale Conductor Alaina Swartz added. “We hope you can join us for what is sure to be a special afternoon.”
Tickets may be ordered or purchased at the door.
Children under 10 years old are free.
