Margaret R. Borzage, 78, of Schnecksville, died April 10, 2024, with her family by her side in Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit, Allentown.
She and her husband, Stanley R. Borzage, were married 60 years.
A wonderful wife, mother and mother-in-law, she was an incredible grandmother to her two grandsons who were the light of her life.
Born Jan. 2, 1946, in Hazleton, Luzerne County she was the daughter of the late James Q. and Mary D. (Gallagher) Sweeney.
A 1963 graduate of St. Gabriel’s High School, Hazleton, she worked in the processing and distribution department of Hess’s Department Store and later Bonton, Whitehall, for many years.
She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by daughter Tracy A. Delans and her husband, Danton, of Slatington; beloved grandsons Wyatt C. and Wesley D. Delans of Slatington; sister Dorothy E. Kimock of Bethlehem; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Joan Sweeny, and brother-in-law, Rick E. Borzaga.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. April 19 in St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield. Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday.
Interment will be private.
