Chocolate and Tea with Donnalee is the theme for the next Lady PEEPS women’s group meeting, which will be 6:30 p.m. April 23 in Fox Hall at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St.

Donnalee Yeatts is a tea specialist with a passion for in-depth knowledge of all things tea. Come to this tea party and learn how to pair tea with chocolate. There will be samplings to try, along with refreshments.

Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St., will be holding bingo April 28. Doors open noon, and games begin 1 p.m.

Bingo will continue with a tricky tray, 50/25/25 raffle, piggy number, lightning game, etc. There will be refreshments available for purchase.

Bring a nonperishable food item for Whitehall Food Pantry.

St. John’s UCC will have its annual basket social 10 a.m.-2 p.m. May 4 and again 8-9:30 a.m. and 10:30-11:30 a.m. May 5. Tickets will be pulled noon May 5. There will also be a bake sale on both days.

Donations of baskets and baked goods are needed.

There are many themes you can choose from, such as baby care, baking, beauty/spa, beverages, books, camping, car care, gardening/plants, games/toys, grocery/movie gift cards, etc.
