Whitehall’s baseball team continues to battle through a slow start this season.
The Zephyrs (2-4) dropped a 12-6 decision to Pocono Mountain East Monday.
Ryan Lindenmuth, Konnor Moyer, and Tyler Sanders each had two hits. Sanders also had three RBIs, and Kovalcik knocked in two.
Bradley Kibler started the game and worked 4.2 innings before he was relieved by Jordan Miller.
Seth Hoderewski is off to a hot start with a .550 batting average and Sanders is hitting .375. Lindenmuth has a 1-1 mark with a 0.54 ERA.
The Zephyrs hosted William Allen Tuesday and will travel to Northampton Wednesday, which were past Press deadlines.
They will finish a busy week by hosting East Stroudsburg North Friday and then travel to Wyoming Valley West Saturday.
