Tiger T&F teams sweep Salisbury

The Northwestern Lehigh track and field teams swept Salisbury last Tuesday.

The Tigers posted a 127-23 victory in the girls meet, and posted a 106.5-43.5 win in the boys contest as both teams improved to 2-0 this season.

Carsyn Van Norman (100, 200), Katie Brensinger (100H, 300H), Abby Pomajevich (long jump, triple jump) and Sadie Fenstermaker (shot put, discus) all had multiple wins for the Northwestern girls.

Northwestern had 11 different winners in the boys meet and won all three relays. Landen Matson (200, 400 relay), Del Tyler (long jump, 400 relay), Gavin Nelson (high jump, 1600 relay, 3200 relay), Sean Kershner (800, 1600 relay, 3200 relay), Benjamin Bachman (400, 1600 relay) and Greyson Wellings (1600, 3200 relay) each had individual event wins and were on winning relay teams.
