The Emmaus track and field teams opened the season with wins in their first two meets.

The Hornet girls team beat Central Catholic 114-36 last week a 106-44 win over Nazareth at week earlier. The Emmaus boys team

Kayla-Rayne Quinones won a pair of events in both meets as the took first place in the 100 and 200-meter dashes against Central Catholic, then won both hurdle events against Nazareth.

Distance runners Madelyn McCartney and Payton Campbell won three races each over the two meets, while Emmaus won all six relays in its first two meets

The Hornet boys team has also won all six relays its competed in this season. In individual events, Emmaus showed its depth with 16 different first-place finishers over the first two boys meets.
