Patricia A. Hoffman, 88, of New Tripoli, died on April 1, 2024, in Cornerstone Living, Weisenberg Township.

She was the widow of James L. Hoffman Sr., who died in 2013.

Born in Allentown, she was raised by her grandparents, Elsie and Walter Schwenk.

A 1954 graduate of Allen High School, she continued her education at Kutztown State College, earning a degree in elementary education.

She last worked as a substitute teacher for the Northwestern Lehigh School District.

She especially loved her dogs, and enjoyed gardening, painting, caring for her many bonsais, knitting, reading, crossword puzzles and going to her children and grandchildren’s sporting events.

She traveled extensively in the U.S. and abroad with family.

Her survivors include her son James L. Hoffman Jr. and his wife, Pamela, of New Tripoli; daughter Patricia L. Hoffman and her partner, Kevin Cassavaugh, of Chandler, Ariz.; grandson James L. Hoffman III and his wife, Natasha, of New Tripoli; granddaughter Tara L. Hoffman and her fiancé, Joseph Pisciotta, of New Tripoli; and great-grandchildren Rhonin, Arija, James IV and Anya.

There are no formal services planned at this time.
