Taylor Kranzley of Bloomsburg and Northampton, who plays second base, was named Athlete of the Week in softball.

Kranzley, a sophomore, posted a batting average of .526 (10-for-19) with six doubles, a home run, five runs scored, and six RBIs to help Bloomsburg go 4-2 last week, earning doubleheader sweeps over Mansfield and Kutztown. She finished the week slugging 1.000 with an on-base percentage of .526 for an OPS of 1.526, helping the Huskies earn their first doubleheader sweep over the Golden Bears since 2014 and the only occurrence as the road team dating back to 2010. She went 3-of-7 with two doubles, two runs scored, and three RBIs in the two games against the Mountaineers. Against Kutztown, she finished 4-for-6 with three doubles, a run scored, and an RBI across two games to help secure the sweep. To wrap up the week, Kranzley was 3-for-6 in two contests against West Chester, doing her damage in game two, going 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, two runs scored, and two RBIs.
