During the March 25 Whitehall-Coplay School Board meeting, a representative from Whitehall High School Student Council shared the school spring musical this year, “Mean Girls,” was incredibly successful.

“It’s truly amazing to see how many incredibly talented kids we have here at Whitehall,” the representative said.

The board watched highlights from the production.

She then announced the Mini-Thon is scheduled for April 20, which will raise money for Four Diamonds Cancer Foundation.

Spring sports began March 4, and both the boys and girls basketball teams went on to the PIAA tournaments.

The board announced revised dates for the 2023-24 school calendar. The last day of school for seniors will be June 3. The last day for students in grades 1-11 is June 5. The last day for kindergartners will be June 4.

April 8, starting 4 p.m., will be the next committee meetings. There will be a regular school board meeting 7 p.m. April 22.
