Richard K. Wessner Jr., 69, of Saylorsburg, died March 12, 2024, at Hospice of Palm Beach County, Jupiter, Fla. He was the husband of Diane (Dewalt) Wessner for 47 years.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of Rhoda (Amison), of Saylorsburg, and the late Richard K. Wessner Sr.

He was a high school graduate.

He was last employed as an HVAC project manager at H.T. Lyons, Allentown, for 30 years before retiring in 2013.

He was a member of Dryland United Church of Christ, Newburg.

He was a Mason with the F&AM Porter Lodge 284, Catasauqua.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two daughters, Jennifer and husband Steven Thomma of Bath and Amanda and husband Matthew Zanzalari of Orefield; a son, Brian and wife Tonya of Swiftwater; a sister, Rhonda and husband Craig Mensemer of North Canton, Ohio; and six grandchildren.

There will be a calling time 10-10:45 a.m. with Masonic services 10:45 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11 a.m., April 18 at the church, 4415 Newburg Road, Nazareth.

Contributions may be made to Loggerhead Marinelife Center or the church memorial fund, both c/o the funeral home, 211 E. Center St., Nazareth, 18064.
