A section of Route 145 in Lehigh Township was closed in both directions April 9 after a morning crash involving a dump truck and car.

Northampton County Coroner Zachary R. Lysek said 52-year-old Lincoln P. Brown, of Selinsgrove, died as the result of injuries sustained in the crash. He ruled the manner of death as an accident.

Brown was the operator of a tri-axle dump truck that was traveling south on Route 145 when the crash happened at Mulberry Drive.

Emergency dispatchers reported a car was also involved in the crash, which happened about 6:30 a.m. The truck came to rest on its side.

Route 145, between Blue Mountain Drive and Birch Drive, remained closed for hours.

No other information, was available at press time.
