St. John’s Lutheran Church, 18 S. Third St., is holding a baked chicken dinner for pickup 4-5:30 p.m. April 20. Dinner includes baked chicken with barbecue sauce, baked potato, green beans, applesauce or fruit cup, roll and dessert.

Preorders are required.

A country western dance is scheduled for 2-5 p.m. April 14. Joe Kroboth Band will entertain. Wear your favorite western attire.

According to Paul Boyle, public works director, the annual tire drop-off event is set for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. May 11 in the upper parking lot at Coplay Parkway.

He also reminds residents street sweeping will be May 15 and 16. Watch for and honor the no-parking signs on sweeping days.
