Beatrice “Bea” Snyder, 70, of Bethlehem, died April 2, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest Campus, Allentown. Born in Key West, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Rudolf Wylk and the late Eleanor (Charnley) Wylk. She was the wife of the late Jack C. Snyder.

She was a Children’s Services case manager for the Catholic Charities of Allentown for 18 years before she retired in 2011.

She was a longtime parishioner and a choir member of Sts. Simon and Jude Roman Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

She was a volunteer first responder, E.M.T. and past president with the former East Allen Township Ambulance Corps, Northampton, for years. She volunteered at Musikfest and Celtic Fest, Bethlehem. She was in a community book club.

She and her husband were foster parents for many children throughout the years.

She is survived by a son, Michael and wife Stephenie of Saylorsburg; three daughters, Heather M. and her husband Chris Bellis of E. Allen Township, Tara and her husband Jeff Nichol of Hellertown and Jess Allen of Austin, Texas; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
