PRESS PHOTOS BY KATHY HASSICK On March 21, fifth grade students at Wescosville Elementary School travel back in time to rock out to the music of the 1980s under the direction of Allison Lewis. The students use cardio drums to accompany the popular Queen song, “We Will Rock You.”

Dancing is also part of the “I Love the ‘80s” concert as featured dancers Emma Huff, Ava DePaola, Louisa Frantz, Chelsie Peters and Lauren Kichline dance to the song “Take on Me” by the synth-pop band a-ha.

Musical director Allison Lewis leads students as they sing and play a variety of musical instruments including ukuleles, bass guitar and piano/keyboards.
