Eleanor M. Wessner, 87, of Kutztown, died March 26, 2024, in The Lutheran Home at Topton.

She was the widow of the late Stanley J. Wessner, who died in September 2023.

Born in Lynn Township, she was the daughter of the late Gorman Billig Sr., and the late Regina (Eschbach) Billig.

She last worked as a deli clerk for the former Martin’s Dairy, Kutztown.

Before that, she was a machine operator for the former Wenton Shoe Co. and was the only woman on an injection molding machine.

She was a member of the Lutheran congregation at Jerusalem “Red” Church, Kempton.

Her survivors include her son Ricky S. (Rebecca) Wessner of Kutztown; grandchildren Kyle (Alyssa) Wessner and Neil Wessner; great-granddaughter Felicity Wessner; sisters Anna Leslie and her companion, Jeff Gerhart, of Kutztown, and Annabelle Hosler of New Tripoli; brothers Carl Billig of Kutztown and Allen Billig of Hamburg.

She was predeceased by siblings Gorman Billig Jr., Paul Billig and Edna Rehrig.
