Rev. Austin Glen Shelly, 94, of Emmaus, died peacefully March 28, 2024, at Phoebe-Allentown. He was the husband of Ruth M. (Ramer) Shelly for 68 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Clarence C.L. and Katie B. (Moyer) Shelly.
He earned his Master of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Mass. and was a member of New Life Bible Fellowship Church, Oley.
He was a missionary to Venezuela and also pastored churches in Millersville, Fleetwood, Oley and Allentown.
He is survived by his wife; children, Susanne R. Figard, of Emmaus, Joanne M. Englehart and her husband, Jason, of Kutztown, David P. and his wife, Sherry, of Fresno, Ohio; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Beatrice DeLong; son-in-law, Keith Figard.

Services will be held 11:30 a.m. April 4 at Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church, 1151 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Allentown. Viewings will be held 6-7:30 p.m. April 3 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus and 10-11:30 a.m. April 4 in the church.
