John N. Johnston, 80, of Walnutport, died March 23, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Dolores (Scapiliati) Johnston for 53 years.

Born in Stafford, England, he was the son of the late Lester and Colleen (Hill) Johnston.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He received a bachelor’s degree in science engineering.

He was self employed as a consultant and engineer for Johnston Design.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Steven and wife Rebecca of Schnecksville, Richard and wife Tracy of Albrightsville and John; two daughters, Irene Post of Walnutport and Lori of Bethlehem; four granddaughters, Brittany, Cora, Nina and Kayla; three grandsons, Brandon, Rudy and Aiden; and two great-grandchildren, Bentley and Savanna.

Services are private.
