District News: Zephyr Elementary yearbook purchase deadline is April 5

Zephyr Elementary School yearbooks are available for purchase for $25 through April 5. The yearbook will capture various moments and memories throughout the year and will serve as a great keepsake for you and your child.

This year’s Whitehall-Coplay School District family night will be 5:30-8:30 p.m. April 17 at Whitehall High School. This event is a celebration of our community and its cultural diversity. It is a great opportunity for families and community members to gather, learn and play together.

Prom tickets will be on sale through April 18. The cost is $85 and can be purchased with cash or through MySchoolBucks. Cash sales will occur before school in the school store, during some lunches in the school store and after school in room E108.

If you want to purchase through MySchoolBucks, there is a form on Google Classroom.

Gockley Elementary School will host an open house for the community 6-8 p.m. April 24.

The school will be open for all to take a look around before the beloved building gets a well-deserved update and takes on a new function.

Registration is now open for the second annual Mia Due Memorial Fund Golf Tournament, set for Aug. 3 at The Club at Twin Lakes, 3625 Shankweiler Road, Allentown.

Applications are being accepted for the Sam’s Club 10-week internship, available to high school students. This internship will give students valuable work experience in the retail industry with emphasis on customer service skills, technology-enabled services and interpersonal relationship skills.

In addition to working during the program, the associate will have access to many Sam’s Club benefits, including associate discounts, financial well-being resources and access to Live Better University education options. LBU is its partnership with Guild Education, which allows students to work for Sam’s Club while enjoying no-cost college tuition to several universities where they can earn a degree of their choosing in 30-plus fields.
