Congratulations to Northampton Area Middle School’s What’s So Cool About Manufacturing team for its Viewers Choice Award during the March 26 ceremony at Lehigh University’s Stabler Arena.

The competition featured 30 middle schools and manufacturers from Northampton, Lehigh and Carbon counties.

NASD’s spring community classes are underway. This program offers a diverse range of courses that cater to personal interests and promote fitness and leisure activities. The courses are taught by experienced instructors and are priced affordably.

Community classes will include aqua aerobics 7:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays April 9-May 30; yoga sculpt 7-8 p.m. April 4, 11, 18 and 25; and then lap swim 7:30-8:30 p.m. May 1, 8, 15 and 22. All classes are held at NASD locations.
