STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: Kimberly Suarez is in the 5th grade at Lincoln ES. Kimberly is an independent and amazing fifh grader. She is an ESOL student who arrived last year from Costa Rica. She is learning to speak, write and read in English. She is excelling in all academic areas. She participates in after school activities like Girls on the Run, and is a member of the Safety Patrol Team. Kimberly’s kind heart and determined spirit make her a very special Lincoln Lion!
STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Francis Onofre is a routing analyst for the BASD Transportation Department. Onofre is the hub of Special Needs routing, and the heart of the Transportation Department. She is highly knowledgeable and competent, but her best quality is her willingness to assist anyone and everyone, and she will often drop everything she’s doing at the moment to do so. Her patience and kindness will greet you even before you hear her speak. It is a pleasure and joy to work with her every day.
ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT: Michael Brady is a 1994 graduate of Liberty HS. Michael is currently the director of Camp Fowler for the Valley Youth House. After graduation, Michael received his bachelor’s degree from Shippensburg University and his master’s degree from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire.
ROTUNDA ART EXHIBIT: The Bethlehem Area School District will be exhibiting a student art exhibition at the Bethlehem City Town Hall Rotunda Gallery from April 7 to May 14. There will be an opening reception on Sunday, April 7 from 2 - 4 p.m. The Rotunda Gallery is located at 10 E. Church Street. Gallery hours are Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
VACCINE PROGRAM: The vaccine clinic for children is typically held every Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Appointments are required. Please contact your school nurse to assist you with scheduling an appointment.

FOUNTAIN HILL ES STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: Kindergarten student Jayden F. has worked hard to meet his daily goals. He puts forth so much hard work to write a sentence independently with a picture! He models being a Super Leader and is consistently focused on the task at hand. We are so proud of you, Jayden!
SPRING GARDEN ES BOOK FAIR: April 16 & 17
FARMERSVILLE ES PEACE GARDEN: We need volunteers on Friday April 5 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. to help our PTA and Kellyn Volunteers with making beds and edging our Peace Garden. The Farmersville Elementary School PTA, Green Team and the Kindergarten class is working to transform this area even more. With the help of the Kellyn Foundation, they are edging and creating beds for planting. The goal of this project is to have a quiet area with places to sit and wander as well as use to support classroom activities. If you are interested, email president@farmersvillepta.org.

The Book Fair will be located in the basement of the old Sacred Heart Church, 1817 First St, and Freemansburg Avenue in Miller Heights.
