The Parkland boys tennis team is off to a 3-0 start to the 2024 season.
The Trojans have beaten East Stroudsburg South, Whitehall and Northampton all by shutout.
In a 7-0 win over Northampton Monday, Parkland’s Manav Patel, Kevin Yao and Tom
Gilchrist won singles matches. Eric Jin and Gabe Morse teamed up for a win at No. 1 doubles, while Ojas Karandikar and Yechan Cho won their No. 2 doubles match. Eric Zager and Matt Ringold picked up a win at No. 3 doubles with Jack Chu and Noah Elijovich winning the No. 4 doubles match.
Parkland beat Whitehall 6-0 last Wednesday, March 13.
Patel, Yao and Gilchrist won singles matches against the Zephyrs, while Karandikar/Cho earned the No. 1 doubles win. Ryan Wu and Matt Ringold took the No. 2 doubles match, while Chu/Elijovich picked up the third doubles win.
The Trojans opened the season on March 11 with a 6-0 win over East Stroudsburg South. Individual results of that match were not received by the Press.
