Northampton and Pocono Mountain East’s track and field teams braved icy temperatures in their first meet of the spring season with the Konkrete Kids winning both girls and boys meets on March 20 at Northampton.

Top performers in girls individual events were Alana Burnette (PME) in the 100 meter dash in 13.7, Anne Beenders (N) in the 200 meter dash in 28.9, Brooke Saul (N) in the 400 meter dash in 1:05.1, Abigail Enstrom (N) in the 800 meter run in 2:43.3, Taylynn Davis (PME) in the 1600 meter run in 6:12.0, and Liv Jusinski (N) in the 3200 meter run in 13:09.4.

Brianna Caulwell (N) in the 100 hurdles in 17.0, Victoria Phillips (N) in the 300 meter hurdles in 52.8, Phillips in the high jump with a height of 5-00.00, Olivia Hayes (N) in pole vault with a height of 7-06.00, Phillips in long jump with a distance of 15-07.50, Lucy Colyer (N) in shot put with a throw of 27-08.50, and Kallie Insinga (PME) in discus with a throw of 69-06.

Top performers in boys individual events were Andrew Whitman (N) in the 100 meter dash in 11.2, Whitman in the 200 meter dash in 23.3, Whitman in the 400 meter dash in 53.4, Brady Dolak (N) in the 800 meter run in 2:07.2, Tanner Ault (N) in the 1600 meter run in 5:18.1, and Evan Seymour (PME) in the 3200 meter run in 11:32.7.

Derec Fritzges (N) in the 110 meter hurdles in 16.6, Fritzges in the 300 meter hurdles in 43.3, Andrew Szeplaki (N) in the high jump with a height of 5-07.00, Szeplaki in pole vault with a height of 11-03.00, Tristen Pinnock (N) in long jump with a distance of 19-07.00, Pinnock in triple jump with a distance of 42-02.25, Josh DeJesus (PME) in shot put with a throw of 40-04.50, and Elias Spencer (N) in discus with a throw of 103-02.

The Konkrete Kids swept all relays.

Winners of the girls 4x100 were Morgan Chandler, Peighton Evangelista, Nevaeh DeJesus, and Destiny Ferdinand in 55.4, 4x400 were Abigail Enstrom, Lindsay Reimer, Brooke Saul, and Joyce Shammas in 4:48.4, and 4x800 were Reimer, Enstrom, Saige Korpics, and Hannah Bowers in 11:27.3.

Winners of the boys 4x100 were Angelo Amato, Alex Schrampf, Ezekiel Spencer, and Aaron Gutkowski in 46.5, 4x400 were Derec Fritzges, Braden Korpics, Brady Dolak, and Andrew Whitman in 3:50.4, and 4x800 were Eijah Mashraky, Brody Graff, Korpics, and Abel Veltri in 9:17.5.
