Special to The Press

The Parkland School District presented a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) program March 15 in the gymnasium at Springhouse Middle School.

Fifth graders from all of the district’s elementary schools attended the program.

Upon arrival at the middle school gymnasium, each student was given a card to be completed when they visited the interactive displays.

Students had to visit at least five displays, plus a Slime Station.

Once completed, the cards were placed in a paper bag.

At the end of each school’s visit, 10 cards were randomly pulled from the bag and the student won a pair of Eclipse glasses.
