Goodbye Winter, Hello Spring

Goodbye winter!

I cannot say I’m sorry to see you go.

I’ve had enough of your cold and wind,

And shoveling all that snow!

The wind will no longer blow off my hat

I’m pretty tired of that!

It will be nice to welcome spring,

With all that it has to bring;

Flowers abloom, fragrance galore,

The birds will begin to sing once more.

Suddenly nature will abound,

Beautiful colors will be all around.

No more shovels,

No more boots;

Soon we can holler,

Who gives a hoot!

Sit back, relax and enjoy it,

Spring will be here before we know.

Enjoy the beauty about to arrive,

And let Old Man Winter go!
