Samuel J. Pantoni, 83, of Whitehall, formally of Summit Hill, died March 18, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospice, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Nancy (Viti) Pantoni for 60 years.

He was the son of the late Amedio and Angelina (Rutch) Pantoni.

He was a 1958 graduate of Marian Catholic High School.

He worked for Mack Trucks, Allentown, for 30 years, retiring in 1988 as a committee man for UAW677.

He was a basketball coach for CYO league at St. Lawrence School, Catasauqua. He was a lifetime member of Fullerton Fire Company and a member of Knights of Columbus and the Men of Malvern.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Samuel A. and his wife Cherylanne of Whitehall; two grandchildren, Brittany and Zachary; a stepgrandson; four stepgreat-grandchildren; two brothers, Amedio and Anthony and wife Josephine; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Richard; and a sister, Constance Kistler.
