Coplay Public Library: Library accepting nonperishable items for Coplay Food Bank

Coplay Public Library is collecting nonperishable food for Coplay Food Bank through April 30.

Receive a coupon for one free book, to be used during the upcoming book sale, if you donate before April 6. Limit one coupon per person.

The spring book sale is set for 11 a.m.-4 p.m. April 5 and 6. There will also be a bake sale and a basket raffle.

We look forward to seeing you!

Preschool storytime and craft is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. April 12 and 26. Preregistration is not required.

Come to the library Saturday mornings to watch movies. They start 11 a.m. Feel free to bring your own snacks and blankets to make yourself comfortable.

The movie schedule will include “A Bug’s Life” April 13, “Bambi” April 20 and “Ratatouille” April 27.

There is no movie April 6.

The library’s spring basket social will be held May 11 at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St. The baskets will be on view at the library a week before the social. More details will be announced shortly.

If you would like to donate a basket or items for a basket, you can drop them off at the library.

Vince’s Famous Steak Sandwiches food truck is coming to Coplay. The library is sponsoring the food truck May 15 at Coplay Parkway. Baked goods and drinks will also be on sale.

The crochet class meets 1-2 p.m. Wednesdays. New members of all levels of experience are welcome.

Whether you want to learn to crochet, work on a current project or get advice from our expert crocheters, join us for a relaxing and instructive hour.

If you have any gently read books or working CDs or DVDs and would like to donate them to the library, you do not have to wait until the fall or spring book sales to do so. We accept donations all year. Children and young adult books are also needed.
