Robert F. Haberle, 91, of Macungie, died March 22, 2024. He was the loving husband of Violet C. (Diehl) Haberle for 73 years. Born in Hatfield, he was the son of the late Titus and Ida (Sell) Haberle.

He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending summers with family and friends boating on the Indian River Inlet, Del.

In his free time he enjoyed remodeling homes. By the age of 18 he built his first home. Over the course of his lifetime, he remodeled more than 30 homes.

He retired from Mack Trucks with more than 20 years of service.

He is survived by his wife; children, Robert M. and his wife, Susy, Nancy Wetzel and her husband, Lloyd, RosAnne Atkins, Carol King and her husband, Stephen, Patricia; brother, Earl; sister, Evelyn Ohl; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, Bill, Stanley, Victor; sisters, Gladys Hetrick, Violet Dietz.

Services will be held 11 a.m. March 27 at Upper Milford Mennonite Church. A viewing will be held 10 to 11 a.m. before the service. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
