Members of the Upper Lehigh Lions Club presented $6,000 to Northern Valley EMS (NOVA) for four binder lifts during their March 13 meeting at Jordan United Church of Christ, South Whitehall.
These devices are designed to help patients who are found in a sitting position.
Raising a patient to a standing position is much safer for both patients and EMS personnel when using the binder lift.
