Stephen Kasza, 96, of Whitehall Township, died March 9, 2024, surrounded by family at home.
The beloved husband of Maria (Kovacs) Kasz, the couple shared more than 70 years of marriage.
Born Dec. 20, 1927, in Szent Mihaly Telek, Hungary, he was a son of the late Jozsef and Julianna (Pap) Kasza.
He was a mechanic and former proprietor of Steve’s Sunoco, New Smithville, and later West Broad ARCO, Bethlehem.
A lifelong handyman, he enjoyed the challenge of tackling any repair or remodeling project.
He was quite active into his mid-90s and still did all his own landscaping.
He loved his trees and maintained a yearly vegetable garden.
Above all, he was a devoted husband and father and will be sorely missed.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Frank Kasza; and sister Irene (Kasza) Kis of Szeged, Hungary.
He was predeceased by a brother Jozsef, and a sister Julianna Kasza.
