Senior Center offers various programs
Lehigh Valley Active Life, 1633 W. Elm St., Allentown, will offer the following dances 7-10 p.m. during March in the Trexler Room.
The per person fee includes refreshments.

They will also be offering the following dance 1-3 p.m. in the Trexler Room.

The center will also be offering the following dance classes.
·March 25: Beginner Line Dancing with instructor Peggy Sue Tobias, 12:30 p.m.
·March 21 and 28: Advanced Line Dancing led by instructor Cathy Seidel, 1 p.m.
The following creative arts classes will also be offered.
·March 20, 25 and 27: Arts and Crafts led by Trisha Baker, 9-11 a.m.
·March 20, 22, 27 and 29: Suzanne Bauder’s Art for Everyone, noon.
Help is available. New and advance students are welcome.
·March 21 and 28: Knit and Chat group, 9 a.m.
Stop in, work on your own projects, knit, crochet or embroider.
·March 21 and 28: Junk Journaling and Book Making led by instructor Jean Burd, 10 a.m.
Bring glue sticks, magazines, scissors and scrapbooking supplies, if you have them. No experience needed.
·March 25: Drawing led by instructor Judy Peters, 9:30 a.m.
Learn how to draw with pencils in this introductory class to composition, outlining and shading.
·March 26: Instructor Bonny Batman’s ceramics, 9 a.m.
Join this fun ongoing class. Price includes paints.

·March 21 and 28: Instructor Ray Royer’s photography composition basics will take place 12:30 p.m.
Learn how to improve your photography using your cellphone or any camera.
The following exercise classes will be offered.
·March 22 and 29: Tai Chi led by instructor Bob Donnelly (Pai Ma Shen), 10:30 a.m.
A holistic exercise that helps reduce stress and promote physical well-being.
·March 22, 25 and 29: Fit Circuit with instructor Sara Mercer, 12:30 p.m.
This low impact circuit style class, featuring upbeat choreography mixed with strength training, is a great overall cardio workout.
·March 25: Barre led by instructor Michele Fisher, 10:15 a.m.
A low impact toning class that blends the principals of Pilates, yoga, strength training and ballet to activate your entire body.
·March 20, 25 and 27: Zumba with instructor Grace Conti, 9:30 a.m.
·March 21, 26 and 28: Zumba led by instructor Ed Nickles, 9 a.m. Dancers and non dancers will enjoy these Latin inspired dance fitness classes, which are designed for seniors.
·March 21 and 28: Mat Pilates led by instructor Michele Fisher, 10:30 a.m.
A strengthening and lengthening form of exercise that focuses on the core (abdomen and lower back) muscles.
·March 26: Tai Chi Qigong with instructor Alice Perry, 2:10 p.m.
Very beginner friendly, meditative and peaceful.
