LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Penny Wars continue at SES through March 22

Can I just start out by saying how amazing the Salisbury High School Theatre’s production of “The Spitfire Grill” was? I didn’t know anything about the story before going to see the play and was so glad I went. Great job to all involved! I also loved how many current and retired Salisbury staff members came to see their former students perform. I’m sure that was so appreciated.

The Salisbury Elementary School PTO Penny Wars are in full swing and run through March 22. Funds from this fundraiser will be used to purchase a basketball hoop for the back playground. How it works is your student wants to put pennies and paper money into their own bucket because that is what counts toward their total. Then put silver coins into other grade’s buckets because that is what is subtracted from the total. Which grade will win this year and get to turn Mr. Brem into an ice cream sundae?

Do you need to purchase sports equipment for those spring sports? Salisbury Youth Association has a 20% off coupon from Dick’s Easton and Trexlertown locations. Visit the school website under Live Feed to print the coupon.

Salisbury Township schools will be closed March 28, 29 and April 1 for spring break. I hope this beautiful weather stays around.
