Margaret “Peg” J. Masters, 98, longtime resident of Whitehall, died March 14, 2024, at Cedarbrook Senior Care and Rehabilitation, South Whitehall Township. She was the wife of the late Thomas L. Masters for 38 years.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline (Osvatics) Toth.

She was a 1943 graduate of Allentown High School.

She was a charter member and past president of Whitehall Women’s Club and a member of Fullerton Memorial Park and Playground Association and Whitehall Exchangettes. She was also a past president of St. Stephen of Hungary Catholic Church Altar and Rosary Society.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara L. Zukowski and husband Chester of High Point, N.C., and Patricia A. Karo and husband Jeffrey of Whitehall; a son, Gregory T. of Whitehall; six grandchildren, Joshua, Zachary, Nicholas, Benjamin, Christine and Jeffrey; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Jonathan Karo; and a sister, Lillian Finn.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. March 22 at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay.
