Alma E. Clauser, 92, of South Whitehall Township, died March 14, 2024, at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall, where she had been residing. She was the wife of the late Kenneth A. Clauser.
Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Edgar W. and Dorothy I. (Dietrich) Kunkel.
She worked at the former Hutt and Wasserman felt hat manufacturing company in Allentown, part time at Keystone Memorial in Allentown and was a newspaper carrier for the Whitehall-Coplay Press for seven years before retiring in 2012.
She received fourth place in the 2011 Pennsylvania Newspaper Carrier of the Year Competition, Senior Division.
She was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.
She is survived by two sons, Mark W. and John T., both of Allentown; a brother, Frederick P. Kunkel of Allentown; a granddaughter, Rachel Ann of Long Beach, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three siblings, Mary E. Kroninger, Harley E. Kunkel Sr. and Maybelle A.R. Furchner; and a stepmother, Althea (Province) Kunkel.
There will be a calling time 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by a memorial service 10:30 a.m., March 22 at the funeral home, 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville.
