Gary James Feigel Of “Perfect Touch”; “Norris & James”

Gary James Fiegel, 62, of Bethlehem, died March 3, 2024, at home. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of Jean (Remo) Mitchell of Womelsdorf. He was the husband of Linda Beth Norris- Fiegel for 32 years and was, for 37-years, with her in a partnership as “Perfect Touch” and “Norris & James” duos.

He was a 1980 graduate of Liberty H. S. Before graduating, he organized local school clubs events. He assisted his grandfather, the late Stephen Remo, Assistant Fire Chief, City of Bethlehem, in civic responsibilities.

He was in the U.S. Air Force. He earned rank of Staff Sargent (E-5), a Non-Commissioned Officer. He was in Law Enforcement at Ramstein Air Base, Ramstein, Germany; and Altus Air Force Base, Altus, Oklahoma, from 1980 to 1984. He was an Anti-Terrorism Task Force crime prevention officer. He was recognized as a “Top Cop” in the U.S.A.F. 86th Security Police in 1981. He was awarded commendation medals and accolades.

A career musician, he worked with the Osmond family at the family theater, Branson, Missouri.

Along with Marie Osmond and the Children’s Miracle Network and Telethon with his original song, “For The Children”. He was in the Songwriters Association. He was instrumental with First Night Bethlehem, the Family Success Network, Miller Heights Talent Show, Lehigh Valley Idol, Pocono Idol, SingStrong, 4 The Art of It and Genuine Caring.

He was a 32nd Degree Freemason, Scottish Rite Freemasonry. He was with the Minsi Trails Council, New Bethany Ministries, Every 15 Minutes of the Lehigh Valley, Tails of Valor Paws of Honor and the Hellertown Historical Society.

He was with Central Moravian Church, Bethlehem, and in volunteer coordination in the annual Christmas Putz.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three children, Stephen and daughter-in-law Emily (Webber) Fiegel of Hooksett, New Hampshire; Christopher of Bethlehem, and Faith Fiegel of Nashville, Tennesee; a brother, Gordon Fiegel and sister-in-law Melissa (Engleman) Fiegel of Bethlehem; a sister, Vicki (Fiegel) Yeh; a brother-in-law, Andrew Yeh of Charlotte, North Carolina; a sister, Deidre Fiegel-Hersh; a brother-in-law, Andrew Hersh of Nazareth; a sister, Barbara Augello of South Carolina; an aunt, Victoria (Remo) and her husband Frank Scudner of Womelsdorf; an aunt, Constance (Remo) and husband William Easterly of Salisbury; former wife, Veronica (Hahn) Hendricks of Easton and her son, Brandon Kutos and wife Jenna (Huber) and their son, Ryker Kutos of Bethlehem; nephews; and nieces.
