Francis G. Tressler, 79, of Fountain Hill, died March 10, 2024, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Elroy and Elaine (Hoffman) Tressler. He was the husband of the late Karen A. (McCandless) Tressler.

He was a 1964 Fountain Hill HS graduate.

He was in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.

He was a general foreman at Bethlehem Steel for 35 years before retiring in the late 1990s.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Fountain Hill.

He was a Fountain Hill Fire Company former volunteer.

He coached Little League Baseball in Fountain Hill.

He is survived by two sons, Adam K. and his wife Gabriela of Royersford and Mark F. and his wife Jessica of Estero, Florida; two sisters, Pauline and her husband Dale Benner of Hellertown and Dolores Wachter of Willingboro, New Jersey; and two grandchildren, Elias and Ander.
