Mildred C. “Millie” Rex, 77, of Germansville, died March 3, 2024, in Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown.

The wife of Melvin E. Rex, they would have been married for 61 years in April.

Born April 13, 1946, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Helen (Fries) Holben.

She worked for J.C. Penney in the packaging department and was a member of Heidelberg Union Church, Heidelberg Township.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters Connie Huyler of Mountain Top and Susan Rex of Auburn; sisters Betty Scheffler of Nazareth, LaRue Fink of Germansville, and Clara Shakespeare of Boyertown; grandchildren David and Tina Huyler, and Rebecca Wambold.

A celebration of life service will take place at 11 a.m. March 15, at Heidelberg Union Church, 5187 Irvin Road, Heidelberg Township.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m.
