Robert Lee Ross, 83, of Coplay, died March 3, 2024. He was the husband of Sylvia Rae Ross for 63 years.

Born in West Liberty, Ohio, he was a son of the late Oliver E. and Stella M. (Detwiler) Ross.

He worked for GE and Black and Decker. He was a psych aide at the former Allentown State Hospital, from which he retired.

He attended Whitehall Bible Fellowship Church for many years, where he played the guitar and sang.

He volunteered for many years at Phoebe Home.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Randall and wife Janet and Brian; a daughter, Pamela Snyder and husband Dale; and two granddaughters, Beth Ross and Cait McAlister and husband Kyle.

There will be a viewing 9:30-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11 a.m., March 16 at the church, 3300 Seventh St., Whitehall.
