Richard James Fritz, 60, of Emmaus, died peacefully at home, March 5, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth (Yost) Fritz. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of Sterling R. Fritz and the late Barbara E. (Schafer) Fritz.

He was a heavy equipment operator for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

He is survived by his father; son, Eric R. He was predeceased by a daughter, Leigh A., who died in 2011.
